Congee is a popular food in China. There are several kinds of Congee such as: Hong Kong style, Cantonese style, Taiwanese style, and Japanese style. However, there is a drawback in preparing Congee, it takes hours to cook.. Here is a tip that will save your time! Put your cooked rice with water or broth into a food mixer and pulse it few times. Don't pulse it too much, otherwise, it will become rice juice. After processing the rice, you only need to cook it ten to twenty minutes!
